The coal ash fusion point tester utilizes a microcomputer to automatically control the ash fusibility determination process. A camera captures images of the ash cone, which are displayed in the designated area on the computer monitor through image processing technology. The furnace temperature changes are regulated by PID control via a front-end single-chip microcomputer, and the temperature data is transmitted to the microcomputer system through a serial port, displaying a time-temperature graph. Upon completion of the test, users can choose to print the ash cone result image and corresponding temperature data, or save the result file. The test process images and temperature data are automatically saved and cleared at the start of the next test. This instrument is widely applicable in industries such as power generation, coal, cement, and metallurgy.
